The first thing to try is to add a little sweet along with a little acid. You might try brown sugar and lemon juice, for example. Add small amounts of each and taste test before going back and adding more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If that doesn&#8217;t do the trick, then add more of your sauce&#8217;s base, acid, spice, and acid ingredients. This will dilute the salt. For most barbecue sauces, your base is a tomato-based sauce.
